Someone rang my phone but hung up as soon as I picked up, definitely some sort of scam trying to get at my bank details. Usually I only give out my landline, so not sure how they got hold of my mobile number. Either way, blocked the number straight away.

Always the same name popping up, Lisa Murray Degisi, famously known for scams. Big fancy house and flashy cars, but nothing earned through honest means. Her daft husband Reno is just as involved in it all.

They called asking for my boyfriend, who never shares my number. They said they were from some kind of financial company. I picked up since it showed as a local number, but I suspected it was spam because I’ve been getting loads of calls and texts all using my boyfriend’s last name. I reckon he might’ve signed up for something dodgy online and because my info is saved on Google, my number probably got shared too. I checked with him, and he didn’t know anything about it, so it’s definitely a spam call.

Reading through the comments about this number, I never gave them my okay to use or ring my phone. I told them straight up that according to UK data protection and privacy rules, they need to delete my number from their records right away. The man who answered the call said he understood and apologised for bothering me.

They claimed to be from the International Credit Centre, offering help with money problems; weirdly, they knew my maiden name, so not sure how they got that info. I told them I’m on the Telephone Preference Service and this was an unwanted call - they said they’d take me off their list :) Feels like a dodgy scam to me.

This number has called me loads of times and I’m surprised it took me this long to actually check who they were. They ring at least once a week asking for someone called ‘Amanda’. One time they did ask if they could speak to me instead, but that was just once. I told them to take my number off their list but guess they didn’t bother, so I’ve blocked them now.

I just got a call from someone claiming to be from the "International Service Centre" connected to "moneyadvisor[###]". The woman said she was calling from South Africa. I told her she should seriously think about getting a proper job with a real company instead of pulling scams on people. I said it’s something she should feel guilty about and if she wants any peace of mind, she should quit this line of work. She awkwardly said goodbye and ended the call.

I think it was a scammer trying to "assist" with financial stuff, they asked if i owed any money. They claimed they found my number through this ‘consumer database’ after i supposedly checked a box when applying for a loan or credit card.
