Got a phone call from 01615464808 where they butchered my name. I quickly told them they had the wrong person. They actually said sorry and admitted they must have dialled incorrectly. I figured it was dodgy and after reading other comments, it looks like I wasn’t wrong to be suspicious!

Got called by someone saying they were from a firm called Energy Guard. They actually have a website, but it felt like one of those pushy cold calls trying to sell loft insulation. They completely disregarded the telephone preference service list. When I chatted with the person, they acted like they knew my info, but funny enough, they didn’t have my name or address. Honestly, I’d steer clear of them.

He called asking if I owned the house, and when I asked what for, he said someone gave him my number to check if my loft was properly insulated for winter. I mentioned that doesn’t make much sense since I live in an apartment building! He seemed puzzled about why he got my number, apologised, and promised to take me off their list. Not sure if he’ll actually do that though. At least he wasn’t rude, which is better than most calls I get. Definitely sounded like another scam to me!

Got a call from some bloke who already knew my name and part of my postcode. When I said I didn’t want any cold calls, he snapped back saying he wasn’t actually selling anything, so he could ring me up. Ended the call straight away and I’m definitely blocking that number.

I got a voicemail about some insulation deal, and when I asked them to call me back so I could chat with a real person, they just got quite rude. Then, when I mentioned my GDPR rights and asked to be taken off their contact list, they abruptly ended the call. I believe the company went by the name Energy Guard.

I got a call from these people just after 10am on 16/10/2020. The woman said her name was Michaela and started blathering about green energy or something like that. But as soon as I told them I was on the TPS list, they got quite rude right away. I’m based near Cambridge btw.

Someone called Michaela said she was from Energy Guard Insulations Ltd. Like others have mentioned, when I tried calling the number found via 1471, it just said no answer or unavailable. They also gave me a freephone number, but when I rang it, I got through to a firm named ####ula, and the recorded message said they specialise in employment law. Really odd!

I got a call regarding some loft insulation they supposedly fitted. I mentioned that the lady living upstairs was annoyed about the insulation affecting her flat. I told the guy it sounded like a total con and to jog on. He replied, “No need to be nasty,” and then just cut me off.

On Wednesday 14th October at 9:34am I got a call from 01615464808 asking after a Mr Bray and even tried to find out where I lived. She gave an address close by, and when I said “I’m not going to confirm that, am I?” she said it didn’t bother her and just hung up. We've been getting calls like this on our phone for about six years now, so we're kinda used to it by now. Even if you block one number, they just ring you from a different one. Seriously, watch out - these folks are definitely not friendly!

I’ve been through this before, and honestly, cavity wall insulation just causes damp issues. When I told them I wasn’t up for a survey, they just hung up on me. Not surprised at all, seems like a total scam, not very professional either.

george bailey, who also goes by shelly.murder.crack, is involved in some really horrible stuff. he's known for messing with young girls, around 15, getting them hooked on drugs and then selling them to pedophile groups in rochdale - the same place he gets his supply. if you want to be careful, these are the numbers linked to him: 07466397298 and 07554564131. be warned.

Dodgy scammers, honestly! They always pull the same trick, saying both owners must be there for the inspection. It’s clear they just wanna push the hard sell by pointing out “issues” they’ll make up. You can do one of two things: either call them out straight away and hang up, knowing exactly what they’re about. Or if you’re up for it, book the inspection (even pretend you’re the only owner), drag out the meeting to waste their time, then kick them off your property in no uncertain terms. They absolutely loathe having their time wasted!

Got a call from a woman saying she was from some cavity wall insulation company, was really pushy. My elderly mum told her she'd already had it done, but the woman wasn’t having it and started getting a bit rude, saying it wasn’t done right. Mum ended the call, but then the same woman rang back, accusing mum of hanging up on her. Mum said she did, and the caller insisted she had to hear her out and mentioned they'd be visiting neighbours tomorrow, so would call again. Mum said no and hung up again.

Some woman rang up saying she was about cavity wall insulation, and she was really insistent. My elderly mum tried to explain it was already sorted, but this woman got quite rude, insisting it hadn’t been done right. Mum ended the call, but then the woman phoned back a few mins later, accusing her of hanging up. Mum admitted she had, and the woman started telling her she needed to listen, saying they’d be visiting houses nearby the next day. Mum told her no once more and put the phone down.

this number keeps ringing me non stop. normally id just hang up, but lately ive started using the 1572 service from my bt landline and now calls from this number should go directly to my junk folder. its been really frustrating getting around four scam calls daily, its proper annoying. fingers crossed this bt call block actually does the job.

Got calls from some energy saving firm about my loft insulation three times in the last couple of weeks. I already told them the building inspector gave the OK when we extended the house, so no survey needed. They just keep ringing though. The last caller was really pushy and quite rude. Tried calling the number back, but it said it’s not a valid number anymore.
