Got a call from someone claiming about insulation, he even knew my name and where I live. I told him I wasn’t interested and tried to hang up, but he kept saying "you're booked in for an insulation survey." I firmly said no and ended the call. Blocked the number straight away. Feels like a scam to me.

Got a call from 0161 546 4801 on the 16th of March. The guy never told me who he was, even after I asked a few times. Then he started making rude comments about my surname, saying it was strange and weird or something like that. Definitely felt like a scam so I just hung up. That’s actually the second dodgy call I've had today on my landline.

When I asked who was on the line, he refused to say and then went on to mention my name and claimed he used to live on my street. I wasn’t having any of it, so I just ended the call.

I inquired about the prior owner of our old residence, but they never used our phone number. It seems they’re relying on some rather unreliable information!
