At first, nobody picked up the phone, but after a few rings, it connected and I could tell right away it was one of those call centres. I looked it up here on the site and decided to block the number.

i get calls from the same number almost daily around the same hour. normally i just let it go to voicemail, but today i picked up. as expected, it was that energy company nonsense again. i straight up told them to quit bugging me every morning and gave them a bit of my opinion!

this caller said they were from “gold star energy” and told me that energy costs were lower now due to the pandemic. i had to tell them that prices had dropped mainly because less oil is being used these days.

I got a call from this energy firm named "egg." They were all keen to have me switch my supplier over to them. Seemed like they were really pushing to get new customers, calling me out of the blue.

For the past week, I've been getting calls every day. I usually just let them ring, but whenever I answer, the person on the other end just hangs up straight away. It's really annoying and totally unnecessary, so I'm going to block this number for good.
