I've had enough of these 0161 numbers bothering me, so I've just blocked them all now.

picked up the phone, it was some energy company ringing. I told them I just switched suppliers recently, and when asked how long ago, I said a couple months. they were fine with that and wished me a good day. I only deal with my utility through email when they notify me my contract is nearly up. I never trust these random calls ‘cos you can never really tell who’s on the other end. Been getting loads with the same area code but different final numbers, same goes for strange mobiles. They’re getting marked as harassment and will end up blocked!

Didn’t have a clue who it was so just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Loads of times ive picked up these calls and no one says a word. They usually ring me late at night. I went ahead and blocked the number, but then a different one rang me. When I answered, some bloke asked why I blocked him. I just hung up straight away. Honestly, it's starting to freak me out a bit.

They ring me constantly, from the crack of dawn right up until 9 in the evening. When I do manage to pick up, they just cut the call immediately! It’s honestly just a massive bother, ruining my peace and feels like they’re invading my personal space. Complete waste of time!

this bloke called me, said he was from some company but never mentioned which one. then he started asking for my bank details, saying he needed to verify some stuff. yeah right, total scam. no way was i giving him anything.

Judging by the comments, looks like a scam call again. I was in bed feeling poorly, so I just ignored it. These sorts of numbers always pop up and when I do pick up, no one’s there or they’re trying to sell me rubbish like insurance or claiming I’ve won a prize. Definitely blocked now!
