Somebody said they were from 02, but I just hung up straight away cos I don’t even use 02 myself.

I received a call from someone purporting to be with O2. Strangely enough, they fumbled over my name, which is rather straightforward. They were rattling on about some supposedly amazing deal, but then started probing into details of my contract and how much I'm billed. If he was genuinely representing O2, surely he would already have that info at his fingertips! I decided to hang up and promptly blocked the number. I highly recommend that others take the same precaution-these folks are definitely up to no good!

So today I got a call but nobody picked up when I tried to answer. Instead of just ignoring it, I searched the number here to see if it was worth bothering with and ended up reporting it to help others who might answer. I always ignore calls from unknown numbers, especially if they don't bother to leave a voicemail.
