Got a call and left a voicemail warning about some PPI fraud!

Got a call about 3 months ago from 01615412510. It was FRS, the company that managed my initial PPI claims, and the woman on the phone said I was entitled to an extra refund. I verified my identity and she even mentioned the lenders I’d already received refunds from, which made it clear it was legit. They sent me a form to fill out, and now I’ve received £928. Really helpful and professional service. Don’t understand why folks think it’s a scam!

A little while back, I got a call from FRS, the folks who assisted me with my PPI claims a couple of years back, and apparently, they’ve teamed up with Fredrick Edwards. The last representative I spoke with was incredibly courteous and supportive. She forwarded me a form to complete, which I promptly did, and now I’ve just bagged a refund of £657! It's baffling why some folks suspect this to be a fraud!

Got a call today from a lady saying she was with 'Financial Recovery Solutions', or FRS. She had a pretty believable story about getting back tax on previous PPI claims. It's a valid concern, but things felt off when she said she needed to ask me some questions to start my file. I had dealt with them for PPI ages ago, so maybe it was legit, but I wasn’t about to give out any financial info on the phone. So I just ended the call there. Still can’t tell if it was the real deal or a scam.

I received a call suggesting I had previously claimed PPI with them and that they could assist in reclaiming further funds. When I suggested they send me an email since I had dealt with them before, their response was, ‘we cannot do that due to data protection rules’. I must say, that’s a misinterpretation of how data protection actually functions. As a former customer, they should already possess my information and, legally, are permitted to utilise it. Every time I tried to probe further into this, he claimed the ‘line wasn’t clear’. It’s definitely a scam without a doubt.
