Got a call and left a voicemail warning about some PPI fraud!

Got a call about 3 months ago from 01615412510. It was FRS, the company that managed my initial PPI claims, and the woman on the phone said I was entitled to an extra refund. I verified my identity and she even mentioned the lenders I’d already received refunds from, which made it clear it was legit. They sent me a form to fill out, and now I’ve received £928. Really helpful and professional service. Don’t understand why folks think it’s a scam!

A while back I got a call from FRS about some PPI claims I had made a few years ago. They’re teamed up with Frederick Edwards, apparently. The lady I spoke to was really nice and helpful, and she emailed me a form to fill in and sign. Just recently, I got £657 paid straight back to me. I honestly don’t see why anyone would think it’s a con!

Got a call today from a lady saying she was with 'Financial Recovery Solutions', or FRS. She had a pretty believable story about getting back tax on previous PPI claims. It's a valid concern, but things felt off when she said she needed to ask me some questions to start my file. I had dealt with them for PPI ages ago, so maybe it was legit, but I wasn’t about to give out any financial info on the phone. So I just ended the call there. Still can’t tell if it was the real deal or a scam.

He replied that they couldn’t do that due to data protection rules. But that’s not how data protection works - if they’re an old client of mine, surely they already have all my info and can legally use it? Every time I challenged them, he kept saying the ‘line was poor’. Definitely a total scam.
