Got a call from someone saying they were “HM revenue and customs” about some tax fraud issue. It was a robotic voice and they just hung up straight away. Total scam.

Got a call from someone saying they could prolong the warranty on my washing machine, seemed like one of those phishing scams. They tried to grab my card info, but I told them to send me the cover info by email. When I kept insisting, they just said it wasn’t worth their time and hung up.

You can get free boiler replacements sometimes. Mine should be able to get one cause it’s old and wastes too much energy. But the free help is only for people with old, not very efficient boilers, so there’s limits on who can get it.
