Got a call from some bloke with a South African accent going on about life insurance. I told him I’d already claimed my policy since I’d died in a car crash. He asked how I could chat if I was dead, so I said I was speaking from beyond the grave. He then said "we’ll keep calling even if you’re talking rubbish" and just ended the call. Can’t wait for them to ring again.

Really happy I checked out these reviews first! They’ve been ringing me nonstop for ages, never bother leaving a message, and I always ignore calls from unknown numbers. It’s wrong that they’re allowed to keep doing this. There’s so many vulnerable folks out there who’ve got way bigger things to stress about instead of these annoying calls!

After seeing the reviews here, I tried to block that number on my phone but it kept saying the number was invalid, so I couldn’t block it.

They claimed to be from some pension review group but honestly, they seemed like total scam artists. I wasn’t having any of it and told them they’d got the wrong person. When I said my name was Michael Hunt, the bloke kept calling me Mike, sounded like a foreigner with a South African accent or something. Seriously, don’t trust these lot or give them any details. I’ve gone ahead and blocked those muppets now.

Got a call from someone about my life insurance, checking if my details were correct. She kept saying she wasn’t after any bank or personal info but kept asking what year I was born. I told her I’m vulnerable and needed to talk to someone else, but she got a bit irritated and just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now as recommended. This number has been blowing me up for ages. I finally picked up this morning, and some bloke who said his name was David started asking if I’d been mis-sold life insurance. When I asked which firm he worked for, he just rattled off a bunch of big insurance companies. Then he insisted that if I didn’t agree to a check, my life insurance might not pay out. I asked how I could be sure he was legit, and he just laughed and warned that refusing would be noted and could affect my claim. Then he just hung up on me.
