I just ignored it, felt like it was some kind of scam.

This number rang me up saying they were from some claims company. They already had loads of my info, even spelled my name using phonetics and got my address spot on. Asked me who I'd borrowed cash from, but said he had a list right there. I told him to just send me the details by email, and then he just hung up. Got suspicious when they switched me over to a different person mid-call - pretty obvious it was a scam.

Got a call on me work phone from someone saying I had a PPI claim with them. I explained straight away that this was just my work line, nothing personal on it. Then the bloke got all pushy, telling me I had to give him my personal number. I told him no way, and he kept insisting I had to! Honestly, it felt pretty aggressive. Ended up just hanging up nicely.

Wilson Tarquin keeps ringing me on the subject of a PPI claim. I've said I'm not interested, but they just wont take the hint. They've been bugging me for about a year and a half now, here and there. Whenever I block one of their loads of 0161 numbers, the next call shows as "number invalid," so I have to block it again by hand. Really annoying.

Total scam - the person said they were from a company called Wilson Tarquith and claimed they handled a PPI claim for me a while back. I told them that’s not true. Then they insisted I was owed money, so I asked them to just post me a cheque if they had my details. After that, they said they needed to look into the investigation itself or something like that. I hung up straight away. Steer clear, honestly!

Got a call on 25/11/22 from some people saying it was about a claim from 5 or 6 years back, something to do with getting money back from HMRC. I didn’t really trust them, so I just ignored what they said and they ended up hanging up. Watch out, they seem to have info on you and could catch someone off guard.

It quickly became clear it was a scam, so I told the woman on the line, who spoke with a noticeable Aussie accent, to send me the info by email. She just cut the call instead. Honestly, these fraudsters should be caught and punished for trying to trick folks. I bet loads of people end up handing over their private info to them.

I got a call from 1511 on 10/11/2022. The caller said they were from the Claims Guys and strangely, they knew my name! They talked about some PPI refund and then asked me to verify my address, that’s when I ended the call. Never give out your details to calls like this. I checked the official Claims Guys site and it clearly states, "We no longer handle any inbound or outbound calls about PPI."

Wed 9.11.22 around 11 in the morning, a bloke rang sayin he was from the claims team again about PPI from 6 years back. He asked for loads of my details and told me to email everything over. Then he said no worries, he’d send the info immediately... funny thing is, I still haven’t got anything from him!

I got called twice from this number. The first time was a missed call on Tuesday 8th November 2022, but there wasn't a clear time shown. When I answered the missed call, I only caught a faint, unclear word. I tried calling back three times but nobody answered. The second call was on Wednesday 9th November 2022 at about 9.40am. When I picked up, there was no one speaking, just noise from a busy room in the background. I called back and was told it was the wrong number. I've had loads of harassment calls before, but hadn’t had any in a while until these two calls popped up.

He even knew my name and asked me for my address. I told him to prove it by telling me the address he had down. He tried to say 'if this was a scam, how would he know my name' haha. Got a call from a guy with a South African accent saying he was from some claims company. He had all my old details, like my address and name. He was talking about getting me compensation.
