I picked up when this number called, but now they’ve gone and blocked me.

I told Unicom that my phone died because my rocking horse went crazy and damaged it. The lady on the other end just abruptly hung up. Felt a bit rude, honestly.

Wanted to see about getting a better deal on my life insurance, figured maybe I could find it cheaper somewhere. Turns out no one was willing to offer me a lower rate. The caller wouldn’t take a hint though, so after a while I had to nicely ask him to stop the sales pitch, take my number off their list, and never ring me back again.

Sounds like one of those dodgy PPI or accident scams again. It's always a Manchester area code popping up. I just ignore the calls, since they never bother to leave any voicemail.
