There was a big pause before anyone picked up. It sounded like an Indian call centre. They somehow already knew my first name. They said they were from a "life insurance" company. I asked which company it was, but all I got was "life insurance" again. Then they started asking me loads of questions. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

A woman with an Asian accent called me saying she was checking up on my policy. I asked which policy she meant, and she said my life insurance. I told her I already have one and asked who she worked for. She just said I should already know if I had one. That’s when I ended the call.

From what I’ve seen in earlier comments, I’m thinking this might be dodgy. The number wasn’t familiar, but I picked up since I was waiting on a call around then. They mentioned something like Me to You or You to Me?? I just ended the call straight away.

Then she started going on about how she isn’t going anywhere and is just sitting in a chair or something. Really weird. Would be good if someone could block this number.

Had a random call outta nowhere saying I qualified for better insurance cover at a cheaper price coz I always pay on time. Then they put me through to someone claiming to be from a firm called Quote Easy. They started asking for my security info and that’s when I got suspicious about the cold call and just ended it. Neither caller was actually from the insurance company, so I didn’t want to risk going on with it.

some bloke said he worked for a company called green measures and wanted to come and have a look at my windows and doors around here. i told him i'd signed up with the tps and that he’d already called me twice this week, so when i said it’s against the law to keep ringing, he hung up straight away. definitely a scam, and honestly makes me wonder if they’re casing houses to rob them if anyone lets them in.
