Our home phone rang today from 01615323589, my wife answered and was told there was something wrong with our computer. Lucky I was nearby and worked out it was a scam, so I told her to hang up straight away. Feels like these scam calls are coming through a lot more nowadays.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming my computer was sending her security breach alerts right then. Thing is, my computer wasn’t even switched on at that time. Told her that and just ended the call straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was from Microsoft, saying my computer was getting hacked. She asked me to switch it on and gave me a "licence" number. I told her straight away I wasn’t falling for it and refused to do anything. She warned she’d lock up my PC, but I just told her to f off and stop messing about. She kept threatening, then all of a sudden, the line just went dead.

It’s a right pain, isn’t it? They just keep coming back, no matter how many times you try to block them. It’s as if they’re determined to get a foot in the door, always insisting we give them access to our computers. I mean, you hang up and block their number, only for them to ring back from yet another one! It’s incredibly frustrating!

Some bloke rang up saying he was from Microsoft, telling me there was an issue with my PC. I played along, letting him talk for a bit while he rattled off what he said was my computer’s ID. After that, I acted like I was trying to boot up my machine, then quietly put the phone down and carried on with my day, well before he rudely disturbed me. That cheeky scammer won’t catch me out! May his scams fall flat!

I got a call from some bloke who said he was d- - - s- - and claimed he worked for microsoft. He even guessed the name of the person living here and started his usual spiel about problems with my computer. When I questioned him, he got really annoyed. Before this, I had another "microsoft" call, but it came from 02036427511. These calls remind me a lot of the bt openreach ones I got last week, so I reckon they’re all coming from the same call centre.

I tried ringing this number back but it just says it's not in service. I guess it's some sort of call centre setup where they don't accept incoming calls, so you can only call them, not the other way around. Has anyone else managed to get through or someone pick up when they called?

Just a heads up, this number isn’t affiliated with Microsoft in any way. Chances are, it’s being operated from a call centre in India. Steer clear of installing any programmes on your device if they request it-better safe than sorry!
