I was getting quotes for life insurance from Sun Life and Scottish Widows. When I corrected this guy on the phone he just snapped back with "you asked us to contact you" and finished by threatening "you better get to know us well". Proper scary and annoying bloke!

So I got a call from Aviva, they had all my info - my dob, name, and address. They tried getting me to chat with someone else to re-confirm stuff they’d already asked about. I just told them to ring back later. Fingers crossed they do, cause then I might have a proper “conversation” with some language that wouldn’t fly in the office!

I just blocked the number since I don't recognise it and it's nothing to do with my emails.

Got a call from some scammer trying to fish for my details. Best thing is just to hang up straight away and block their number, don’t even bother chatting with them.

In less than an hour, I got two calls from the same number. The person mentioned something about life insurance and even knew my address. I asked them to send me the details in writing since I was busy at work, and then they just ended the call right away.

Didn’t pick up and then the phone just died on me, which was kind of strange.

Got another call from the same number today, but this time the bloke actually spoke. He said he was with some sort of call blocking company, claiming he’d be sorting out my telemarketer issues and updating my settings to block more unwanted calls. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
