I think it was the Manchester police, they rang me twice. Since I was using an iPhone, it asked who they were and what was the call about. They mentioned something to do with custody, which I found quite odd. They never bothered to ring back after that.

The chap on the line kicked things off by assuring me that this wasn't your run-of-the-mill sales pitch, but it quickly became apparent that it was nothing else. He rambled on about double glazing and then, without any explanation, just cut the call. I decided it was best not to bother returning his call.

Got a call from some double glazing company. As soon as I picked up, the line just dropped. Tried calling them again, got hit with an automated message straight away. Heads up, you're the one getting charged for the return call, not them. Best to just ignore and not ring back.
