I received a call from someone who claimed to be looking into my BT contract. He mentioned he could help cut my monthly charges if I was willing to extend my agreement with them.

I rang this number back and the guy said he was from some aftercare team. wouldn’t tell me what company he was working for and said it had something to do with an incident within the past three months. I told him I haven’t had any incidents recently and then he just ended the call!

this person called saying they were from bt and claimed my internet was at risk of being hacked so they were going to shut it off. i was like, "surely that’s not you, right?" then they just hung up on me.

Got a call from a really friendly bloke, said he wasn't trying to sell me anything. He mentioned that if you've got a frozen, private or company pension, sometimes the pension company charges an admin fee that you might be able to get back. He said his service could help sort that out by reclaiming those fees, but also insisted he wasn't selling me anything, just charging a fee for helping. Felt a bit dodgy to me - pretty sure it was a pension scam.
