Had a call from Vodafone today, on the 10th of October 2023. The chap had a distinct Indian accent. When I inquired about how he intended to pull off a scam on me, he promptly ended the call. Honestly, if I’d had a spare moment, I would’ve taken great delight in leading him on with a made-up persona from one of those fake name generators, all in a bid to protect others who might fall for this nonsense.
