The initial call came from someone named Alex who told me they could offer a cheaper contract renewal. He suggested I visit the shop for further details. Then, I kept getting calls with the same spiel about needing to renew call blocking, almost identical to the last three calls. I mentioned I suspected it was a scam, and they said I could receive plenty more calls. I told them it was bordering on harassment and that I'd report it. All calls were from an Alex with the same message - really annoying experience.

I got a call on my brand new landline from the Tories, even though I’ve never shared that number with anyone. They wanted to talk about the election, and it was pretty weird since campaigning was meant to be on hold because of that awful #### attack.
