Got a call from some overseas scammer, had to ask them to repeat themselves coz of the accent. They were telling me I had some sort of claim for about £8000 in PPI, but to get it, I’d need to go to a nearby shop and pay over £100 first. Then, apparently, someone would visit my place the next day with the cash. I told them to just bring the money tomorrow and I'll hand over the £100 when I see the cash. They just hung up after that. I've blocked the number now, would advise you to do the same.
