4 yearsI've had loads of calls from different companies all saying they can help with my debts, but I don't owe a single thing. They keep calling over and over from various company names. It's really annoying.4 yearsI keep getting calls from numbers like 01615274509, but I don’t recognise them at all. They never leave a voicemail, so I just end up blocking them all.4 yearsI received a phone call from someone with quite a distinct accent that sounded foreign. Their English was rather choppy, to say the least. They introduced themselves as being from the Credit Investigation department and insisted that we needed to have a chat regarding some supposed unpaid debts I had. What utter rubbish! I don't owe anything to anyone!Credit Investigation4 yearsI didn’t pick up, got a call from a number that was pretty much the same an hour before. I never answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise. My voicemail even says if you don’t leave a message, I’ll block you. Of course, since neither left a message, I’ve blocked them both now.4 yearsGot a call about something to do with "unsecured debt" - it just felt dodgy, like one of those scam or spam calls. Definitely didn’t sound legit to me.4 yearsThe message was really hard to hear, something about a debt help line. There were some options mentioned, like sales and an 'opt out' choice, but it all came across as a bit of a pestering call.4 yearsGot a missed call earlier, no clue who it could be since I don't know anyone from Manchester at all.Manchester4 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from the credit investigation department, but their English was all over the place. I just hung up straight away.4 yearsThese calls truly get on my nerves!4 yearsImpostors posing as debt collection agents.4 yearsA person who's barely managing to chat in English while the telly is blaring away, blabbering on about some "fraud investigation squad." Brilliant, darling! 👍🏻4 yearsI wouldn't recommend picking up these calls at all.4 yearsI often ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers, so if you’re not saved in my contacts, chances are I won’t answer. Best to refrain from calling, really!4 yearsHaha, I must say, I do find it rather amusing to toy with these scammers! It all kicked off with a cheeky call: "Hello Mr Dias, we've come across your details regarding debt consolidation, a government-affiliated service. Would you mind sharing your personal information?" To which I retorted, "If you've already got my information on your screen, why would I need to spill any more? I think you might be mistaken, as Mr Dias isn't available at the moment; he's currently engaged elsewhere." And just like that, they simply terminated the call!HahaDiasSubmit Your Own Report (0161 527 4509)
