Just had a rather dodgy recorded message about loft insulation come through. Seems like a scam to me!

He mentioned he was affiliated with an Energy Hub and went on to say that the insulation in my loft had been flagged as potentially harmful and a source of irritation by the British Lung Foundation.

It seems that this might be a dodgy caller.

Received a rather unexpected automated call from some energy centre, claiming there were items in my loft deemed as an ‘irritant’ according to the British Lung Foundation. They mentioned the option to arrange a complimentary visit from a local surveyor for an inspection. When I inquired about the identity of this so-called energy centre, the response was simply ‘I’m Jo' before the usual electronic beep cut in again, and the line went dead. I can’t shake the feeling that there’s some sort of automated system behind this, designed to collect personal information and track when people are at home. Quite concerning, really!
