I’d really recommend steering clear of these individuals as they seem to be dodgy scammers trying to fish for your banking details. They're definitely not the real Curry's PC World, that's for sure!

I got a call supposedly from Currys PC World, and they straight up demanded to know my network instead of politely asking. They said they were calling from London but the phone number showed up as Manchester. When I pointed out that odd bit, they just hung up on me. Really sketchy behaviour.

Some woman rang saying she was from O2 but when I told her I’m not with them, she just ended the call straight away. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Definitely a sketchy call. I picked up but didn’t say anything, and they just ended the call straight away. I could hear loads of people talking in an Asian language in the background.

Got a call from a nice bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was ringing from O2. I told him I’m actually with Vodafone and not interested at all. He kept insisting it was a promo and wouldn’t cost me a penny. I just said thanks but no, and then ended the call. Pretty clear scam to me, so I’ve blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone with a strange accent, sounded like they were from somewhere in the east. All I caught was “Vodaphone, how you doing?” Definitely one of those cold calls.
