I kept getting calls from a number starting with 0161 524... but I just ignored them and never picked up.

Got a call offering me a “free 20% off” on my O2 bills. I only answered with yes or no but didn’t really engage, then they just ended the call. I’ve noticed quite a few firms offer 20% discounts, not just O2 though. Feels a bit dodgy to me, but since they didn’t actually ask for any details, who can really say if it was a scam?
