There's this bloke, Phillip Knight from Swinton, real mess of a guy, always on the booze and amphetamines. He's a proper lowlife, nickin' purses off elderly people with his girlfriend, Donna Smith, who ain't much better. Just thought you should know.

They keep ringing no matter what. Now I just ignore my landline when it rings and dial 1471 straight away afterwards to see if it's someone I actually wanna speak to.

From what I can tell, this number is just one of several handled by Twilio, claiming to be local to Manchester. The FCC in the States has warned them about cracking down on their spam robocalls, but it seems like they’re carrying on without much trouble, possibly running things out of Ireland?

I can’t help but think this might lead to a dodgy scheme, or maybe the ruse is to lure you into a complimentary assessment only to hit you with hefty fees for needless replacements. What a load of tosh - totally bothersome, so I hung up the phone.
