Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from Three. She said I could get a discount but asked for my personal info to “confirm my identity”. The moment I asked for more details, the line just went dead. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I usually ignore calls from unknown numbers and just let them ring till the voicemail kicks in. If there's no message, I just block the caller straight away, they are such an annoying pest!

I got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent who knew my name straight away. When I asked who he was, his reply was unclear but I caught something about a credit company. I asked where they had got my number from, and he insisted he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. I told him I wasn’t interested in any credit offers and mentioned my number is on the TPS list, so he shouldn’t be calling me. After that, he just ended the call. I tried ringing back the number that showed up on my phone, but it said the number wasn’t recognised.

I got a call from someone saying they were The Phone House and claiming to be ringing for EE. I asked how they managed to get my phone number and they said it was from EE since they were calling on their behalf. Didn’t feel right so I ended the call. Then I phoned EE myself and they said it wasn’t them and nobody should be ringing pretending to be calling for EE. Be careful with these calls.
