I received a call claiming to be from EE, stating that I had an outstanding debt. Quite amusing, considering I don't even use their services! As soon as I mentioned that I'm not with EE, the phone just went silent.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from EE, promising an additional 30% off. It seemed pretty dodgy, to be honest. My son-in-law is part of the team at EE, and they definitely don’t have any call centres in India. Furthermore, the woman who contacted me had a thick accent and struggled with her English-certainly not someone who would be employed at EE.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with EE, but they didn’t even know who I was and struggled with their English. It reeked of a scam to me. The moment I questioned them, they just hung up - I mean, EE would never behave in such a manner!

Received a call claiming to be from O2, but I had my doubts. When I mentioned this, they promptly disconnected. The whole situation felt like it was coming from some overseas call centre.

Received a call claiming to be from my mobile service provider, which quickly shifted to Sky's network. They were hawking a so-called 40% discount on my bills and wanted me to verify my last bill amount. Instead of playing along, I asked her to confirm the figure first, to which she got a bit snappy, insisting she had my details and required my confirmation. I mentioned I would reach out to Sky myself for clarity, but she continued on about her supposed access to my information. I pointed out that the number she was using wasn't associated with Sky, and suddenly, she went quiet. Cheers to dodging a scam!

Some dodgy bloke from Asia attempted to swindle me by claiming he needed my banking info "just for a £1 payment" to finalise my complimentary phone upgrade. Nice try, mate! Maybe you should consider finding a legitimate job instead of resorting to these pathetic schemes?

I received a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, they hung up almost immediately. Earlier today, around 10:52 AM, I answered another call from 0161 524 1815. There was a distinct hum of a call centre in the background, yet no one addressed me for a good 15 seconds before the call just cut off. Quite odd, isn't it?

I received a call from this number claiming to be from EE, but I don’t actually have an account with them. When they asked for my name and address, I replied that if they truly represented EE, they should already have that information. After that, I decided to hang up.

Received a couple of calls from someone purporting to be from Three, insisting they could reduce my monthly bill. They were asking for my name and what kind of phone I had. When I questioned them about potentially being a scammer, they abruptly ended the call. An Indian chap, 100% a scam artist-had no clue who I was or any of my details!

I received a call from what seemed to be an Indian call centre claiming they were affiliated with 3. They were offering me the latest iPhone 15 for just £25 a month, which sounded rather dodgy, to say the least! When I started probing for more details about this offer, they abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you say?

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Three Mobile, touting a fantastic £200 a month deal for an iPhone. However, upon mentioning that I'd just acquired a new phone, he proceeded to pitch me a SIM-only offer that was supposedly an upgrade on my existing plan. He mentioned I could enjoy all-you-can-use services for a mere £8, which is significantly less than my current expenditure. Strangely enough, he then inquired about what I was paying at the moment. It raised a red flag as he appeared to have no prior knowledge of my name or the specifics of my contract, making it quite clear he wasn't genuinely affiliated with Three.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from EE who mentioned they could offer me a discount. They then inquired about my monthly payment details. Since I'm only shelling out £6 a month for my mobile, I found it odd that if they were genuinely from EE, they'd already have that information on hand. So, I remarked that if they truly represented EE, they ought to know my payment figure. They abruptly ended the call, prompting me to look up the number, leading me to stumble upon these remarks.

I’ve just had a really dodgy experience with a caller who rang me up from an Oxford number. Can you believe it? After just over five and a half minutes, I got another call, but this time it was from a number flashing Manchester! It’s quite clear these people aren’t to be trusted - they’re apparently involved in some sort of investment scam and possibly even more nefarious activities. It seems to be a serious criminal network, linked to Turkish and Indian nationals. Best to steer clear of these characters entirely!

Gave them a ring back - a British woman picked up and mentioned that they were handling payments for businesses. When I asked what exactly for, she seemed a bit stumped and admitted she had no details on her end (though she did know my name, curiously enough). Quite fishy, if you ask me!
