I just had a ring from this number saying they were from 02. The bloke had an Indian accent and was trying to get me to switch my phone deal. I immediately knew it was dodgy since I don't even have a contract with them lol.

Definitely a bogus EE number ringing me up!

So, O2 are going to stop my current SIM and send me a new one, and they said there’s a 20% discount included as well...

Today I got a call but chose not to pick it up since I only answer numbers I know. If it’s legit, they usually leave a voicemail anyway. I've also signed up to the Telephone Preference Service, which is totally free. You can register several phone numbers with them. TPS helps block those annoying calls, and it really works most of the time. However, some scammers blatantly disregard the rules and keep calling. But if you report those illegal calls, they usually hang up pretty quickly and tend not to bother you again.

I received what appeared to be a dodgy phone call claiming to be from EE. The person on the line was clearly attempting to fish for my One-Time Passcode in a bid to gain access to my account. Definitely feels like a scam!

Got a call minutes ago from someone saying they're EE, but nah, definitely not them.

This morning I got a call from this number claiming to be from O2, saying I could get a 20% discount on my contract. I asked a straightforward question - “if you’re really O2, can you tell me my name?” - but they couldn’t, not until I answered some security questions, one of which was to tell them my own name! I told them to stop calling me and that I’d be reporting this number to O2 as suspicious. I’ve been with O2 for over 15 years and they’ve never once rang me up offering me a cheaper deal.

Today my hubby got a call from some scammers acting like they were from EE. They sent him an OTP and managed to switch his password. Very sneaky!

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, but they left no voicemail or message. Seems dodgy, probably some sort of scam.

Got a call again today, supposedly from Vodafone. This is the second time they've rung me. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just ignored it since it seemed a bit random. Ended up blocking it to stop any more calls coming through. Oh, and just to be clear, I don’t have any mates or contacts in Manchester either!
