I could barely make out what the woman was saying, sounded foreign, maybe Asian or Chinese. I had to sound out O2, like the phone provider, just to get across which company she was supposedly calling from - her English was that bad. She didn’t say her name or give any intro, no security checks at all. She kept rushing, saying she could knock 20% off my bill if I entered a code right away. When I asked for details in a text, one came through straight away, but it said ‘O2 UK’ with a space, which isn’t how O2 usually texts - their messages come as ‘O2UK’ all squashed together. I ended the call and deleted the message, then popped onto this site to see if it was legit. Definitely looks dodgy, smells like a spam or scam call trying to get my info.

A person with a strong Indian accent said they were ringing from O2 and claimed they could reduce my monthly charges.
