Getting spam calls from a loft insulation firm, and wondering why the ICO isn’t doing anything about it? It’s so annoying, they keep ringing all day. You’d think the regulators would step in by now, but nothing seems to be happening. Really frustrating!

Today, on 29/8/23, I got a random phone call about fibreglass insulation in lofts, with the caller claiming it’s bad for people’s health. The woman, only telling me her name was 'Jo', wouldn’t reveal which company she was representing. When I asked for the company’s name, she just ended the call. I volunteer for an energy charity myself, and this feels like one of those dodgy scam calls. There are government schemes to help some homes with this kind of work, but any legit caller would properly introduce their organisation. Beware of cold calls like this!
