3 yearsReceived a call from a number based in Manchester-an individual with what sounded like an Essex accent claimed to be from some sort of eco initiative backed by the government. She went on about how the insulation in our loft was deemed an irritant. Naturally, I was curious how she had come by this information, and she insisted it was all in her database, complete with photos! I pointed out that no one had ever stepped foot in our loft to snap any pictures and that we had personally swapped out the insulation. She then proceeded to ask what we had replaced it with but couldn’t seem to let me finish a single thought (for the record, we opted for non-irritant plastic insulation). At that point, my patience waned, and I exclaimed, “Will you stop interrupting me, you absolute cow!” before cutting the call-before she got the chance to do so herself!ManchesterEssex3 yearsThe person on the line claimed to represent a government energy agency, but I didn’t hesitate to cut the call.
