3 yearsSo I answered the phone and it turned out to be an automated call asking to verify if two payments were made by my mum, who owns the account. One payment was legit, to Tesco, but the other was for more than £1000. Concerned about a possible fraud, especially since they mentioned a transfer to Mexico, I rang back. An Indian guy picked up but then just ended the call. I checked my mum’s online banking and everything looks fine, so I’m guessing this is just a scam. Seems like others have had similar calls pretending to be from Vodafone.TescoMexicoVodafone3 yearsSo annoying! They kept ringing me non stop every few minutes. When I finally picked up, they just stopped the call right away.3 yearsGot a call from a woman claiming to be with Vodafone, trying to get me to upgrade to the newest Samsung. Bit odd since she rang my work phone and that's with EE, not Vodafone. Feels like it could be one of those scams!VodafoneSamsungEE3 yearsI ignored the call since the number was unfamiliar to me. If it was something important, surely they would have left a voicemail, but nothing was received. I reckon the number's probably been faked because I get loads of calls from what claim to be building firms. So don’t just assume the person registered to the number is actually the one calling! I've labelled it as suspicious since I never picked up.3 yearsI've been getting calls from this number where they just ring and then cut off every time.Submit Your Own Report (0161 524 0994)
