Got a call from some bloke saying, "This is Steve, I’m calling about your computer." I nicely told him to buzz off. Honestly, I didn’t buy it - definitely not a proper Steve from Manchester considering the area code. Feels like just another dodgy scam.

Got another one of those "Your computer needs fixing" calls today, and all they wanted was my IP address!

Someone called me saying there was a serious problem with my PC. They insisted I go online, probably trying to trick me into letting them get control of my computer via some website.

Had one of those annoying "there's a problem with your computer" phone calls today. When I told them to get in touch with my IT team (which I don't actually have), they just went silent and hung up. I've since blocked the number on my CPR blocker.
