I received a dubious call insisting that there was a critical issue with my computer, which they claimed posed a serious threat. They seemed quite eager to have me online, probably hoping I’d unwittingly grant them remote access via a dodgy website. It all felt rather suspicious, if you ask me.

I received one of those pesky calls claiming there’s an issue with my computer. When I suggested they reach out to my so-called IT team (which doesn’t exist, by the way), there was a sudden hush and then they promptly hung up. I've since made sure to add that number to my call blocker.
