Trying to scam me. Got a call earlier from a hidden number that’s supposed to be banned for telemarketing. The bloke wanted to talk to Abram or Abraham? I’m in telemarketing myself, so I see how folks like this give the whole industry a bad rep. No proper training, rude behaviour, and just plain clueless. It’s stuff like this that makes everyone think badly of us, kinda like how people stereotype ALL blokes or ALL football supporters as troublemakers.

Call was immediately sent to my spam filter and got blocked. I always report scam calls to action fraud but it seems pointless cause nothing ever really happens, so reporting feels like a waste of time. These idiots should have actual legal action taken against them with big fines, not just told off and let to carry on like they’re doing us a favour.

Got a call from Patrick at Discount Telecom about our company’s phone lines. He only wanted to chat with the owner or whoever handles money stuff. As soon as I said I couldn’t transfer him to anyone, he just ended the call. It’s not the first time he’s rung and I’m sure it won’t be the last!
