Honestly, I don’t reckon this is a scam. Someone rang me up and actually asked about the damage at my place. The council kept ignoring my complaints, but this person helped me sort out the problems. They even managed to get a bit of compensation for my lad who’s been struggling with asthma - it was awful breathing in the house. Plus, they never charged me or asked for any bank info. So for those calling them out as scammers, I spoke to a solicitor who clarified everything for me.

Some bloke from India called asking all sorts about damage to my property, asking if I was the tenant or the owner and my name too. Seemed dodgy to me, so I just ended the call and put his number on block. Definitely felt like some kind of scam.
