It was utterly ludicrous! He went on about me supposedly being in arrears with my tax payments. Beware of HMRC scams, best not to pick up. Make sure you report it to both Action Fraud and HMRC straight away. Also, get in touch with COLT Technologies on 020 7390 3900 - they’re the ones forwarding these scam calls. You need to demand they take off the tenant renting those lines because the company providing these calls is profiting from it, and it’s got to stop!!!

As soon as the automated message started saying who ‘she’ was and that I needed to ring back, I got really suspicious. Feels like one of those scams - watch out!
