Curious, I called the number back, and the chap on the other end promptly inquired about my name and age. I firmly stated, “I’m not comfortable disclosing that information.” His response sent chills down my spine: “I’ll be seeing you in your neighbourhood at 7:00pm.” Mind you, it was only 5:24pm then, and after that unsettling exchange, I didn’t dare step outside for a full three days!Manchester4 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be with The Life Assessment Department. They knew my name and postcode but insisted I confirm my date of birth before putting me through to a “supervisor” who’d supposedly help check if I’m paying too much for life insurance. When I asked for the company’s website, they said they couldn't provide it until I gave my DOB - so we kinda hit a dead end. Totally sounded dodgy to me. Also, tried ringing the number back later and it just doesn’t work.
