I received a call from someone claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau, offering assistance with my unsecured debt. However, when I started to enquire more about this, he abruptly ended the call. Oddly enough, this number had previously contacted me, purporting to be about NHS vaccinations. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

0161 520 2588 Lad spoke with a thick Indian accent. Wasn’t sure if I was Miss or Mrs, then said he was from some Public Welfare Dept, which I’ve never heard of here. He mentioned a verification call or something, but I kept asking him to clarify and he just hung up. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was with Citizens Advice Bureau in “central London”, but couldn’t tell me which office. Loads of rubbish. I humoured him for a bit, but then got fed up and told him where to go before hanging up. Was kinda funny though, gave me a good couple of minutes of laughs. Totally a scam, no doubt.

Called by 01615202588 asking about my health problems. I said I wasn’t willing to talk about that on the phone and suggested they send me an email or text instead. The bloke just ended the call. Haven’t received anything since, so I’m guessing it’s dodgy and probably a scam.

A bloke with an Indian accent called pretending to be from some health company (not trying to be racist or anything), but I couldn’t make out what he was saying. He asked if I was alright, I said yeah, then he immediately starts asking about my health. First thing he asks is if I take any regular medication. I’m thinking, hang on, that’s my doctor’s business, and this guy clearly isn’t my doctor. So I asked why he was asking personal stuff and how he got my number. Then there was dead silence, so I just ended the call. Number’s blocked now.
