Received a call from someone looking for an individual who clearly isn’t in the phone book. They abruptly ended the conversation as soon as I inquired about the last name!

I received a call the other day and picked up thinking it might be something important. However, I stayed silent, and they ended up disconnecting. It seems like an auto-dialler leverages that silence to cut off the line. If you respond, I reckon they connect you to a representative who's probably keen to pull some dodgy trick on you. Quite the nuisance, isn’t it?

I received a call that flagged as "possible spam!" Therefore, I chose not to pick up the phone.

I received a call from someone named "Kevin" who appeared to be phoning in from a call centre. His accent was quite thick, making it difficult for me to grasp what he was saying.

The call ended abruptly as soon as I picked up.
