I got a ring from 01615202343, and the person said they were from Lending Stream. They mentioned a postcode from an address I used to live at, which made me suspicious enough to check the number. I asked if they could tell me their name so I could ring Lending Stream back and speak to them directly before sharing any info. Right after I said that, they just hung up! I'm pretty sure it’s a phishing scam. Please warn any older or vulnerable family members about these calls - these folks just want to steal personal information to commit identity theft!!!

Had an individual with an Asian accent ring me up, purporting to be from my mobile provider, though curiously never actually divulging their identity. When I pressed him to reveal the company name, he abruptly hung up. Quite the suspicious encounter!

The person on the phone had a really thick accent and spoke awful English that was hard to get. Claimed to be from EE and said they had a massive discount on the new iPhone or iPad. Honestly, they should find proper work instead of bothering me. The call kept cutting out and there was loads of noisy background. I ended it nicely and hung up!
