I got in touch with The Real Housing Disrepair team and they confirmed they don’t ask for bank details or ID like these fraudsters do. I’ve reported the whole thing to the police. They trick you into signing something online, and even that so-called High Street solicitor they mentioned is bogus - the number for James wasn’t legit at all. I also got sent a fake letter that looked Photoshopped with a false phone number.
