Some bloke rang me about a brilliant deal on phones and sims, tried to get me interested. I told him I'm not interested and to remove my number from their list. He said that’s impossible, so I called him out for being a con artist. He just laughed and said, “How did you guess?” Absolute joke! Then he tried asking me for £5000! I told him to jog on in no uncertain terms and begged him to stop ruining people’s lives. He kept pushing for cash, so I had to hang up. These scammers really need to be stopped quick!

As soon as I picked up, a man greeted me with a “hi ma’am” that had a bit of a foreign sound to it. I barely let him get a word in before telling him not to call me back. It gave me an uneasy vibe, like it might be some kind of scam. Honestly, I reckon it could be risky if others carry on talking to them without caution.
