The phone rang and when I picked up, there was a brief pause before a bloke said hello and mentioned he was from a company, but I couldn’t quite make out the name. I asked him to say it again, but he just replied with, "how are you today?". I tried asking who it was once more, and after a moment, it hit me that it wasn’t a real person but some sort of automated voice. So, I ended up hanging up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, saying they could cut my bills by 30%. Funny thing is, they had no clue what my name was. The person sounded like they were from the Middle East. They said they’d email me the info but when I asked if they had my email address, they just hung up. Really dodgy.
