Received a call from an unknown number, but when I answered, there was silence and then they abruptly disconnected.

I received a phone call on 21st September 2022 at precisely 15:02 from the number 0161 523 1720. The chap on the other end had a rather brusque manner; he seemed to have an accent that sounded either Indian or Pakistani. When I inquired about the nature of his call, he claimed to represent some sort of survey repair firm, but his English was so muddled it was nearly impossible to understand. As the conversation progressed and I constantly expressed my confusion-especially since I had no knowledge of this company-he became downright rude, even going so far as to label me insane and telling me to be quiet. Quite appalling behaviour, if you ask me!

Got a call from 01615201820, some bloke called Henry claiming to be from Phone House. His accent was a bit thick so I asked him to say it again, and he sounded proper annoyed by that. I just asked him straight up what he wanted, and he snapped back saying he wanted to end the call. Then he hung up on me, quite funny really!

This bloke said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse. When I asked how they got my number, he told me it was because I was a loyal customer - which isn’t true as I’ve never bought anything from there. He tried pushing some great deal on me, but I kept telling him to remove my number from their list. In the end, he just ended the call on me.

So this guy rings up claiming he's got the newest mobile phone deal going, with unlimited calls, texts and broadband both here and overseas. He said there’s only 1,500 of these available, or maybe it was 15,000 - he wasn’t quite clear. All of it supposedly for just £32 a month, and the phone, apparently the latest iPhone, would arrive next day. Plus, there was a year’s free insurance covering everything. Honestly, sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I didn’t hang about - blocked him right away.

I asked her straight up, "Why are you tricking folks and robbing them of their hard-earned cash?" Told her she was an awful human and that people like her deserve to rot. Totally a con artist. They said they were calling from some 'solutions' firm and told me there was some legal stuff going on about debts I supposedly owed, asking if I was sorting them out. I just got a call and as soon as I said I wasn’t interested, the bloke got all rude straight away. He claimed he was ringing from Microsoft, saying we had some kind of virus and malware issue that we didn’t even know about. Said he could prove it too. I told him we use Avast but apparently that doesn’t cut it for Windows 10. He gave me a number to ring back - 02081446601. When I looked up that number, it was spam as well. He mentioned names like Michael James and Danny Martin during the call.
