Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who was asking about issues with mould and the heating. Didn’t really pay attention, he just kept going so I cut him off, hung up, and blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from some housing association about mould and damage in my house. He kept asking if I lived in council or private housing. He already knew my name and address, which was odd, but when I said he should have that info already, he got really annoyed. Then he started calling me names, said I was wasting his time, and just hung up. Proper rude and definitely felt like a dodgy scam.

I said i wasn’t sure, it’s quite old and i’m not tech savvy. Actually, it’s not that old! Anyway, i told him all that mattered was the phone does its job properly. I had to tell him multiple times i wasn’t interested before i just ended the call. Then i made sure to block the number!

I noticed a call from a number linked to Manchester on my phone. I'm situated in Scotland, so I don't have any acquaintances in that area. Figured it was just a spam call, so I chose not to pick up and promptly blocked it. Having glanced at other people's remarks, it seems they echo my thoughts on the matter.
