This morning, I received a call from a fraudster impersonating a debt collector, inquiring about a debt that isn't associated with me at all. Quite cheeky, really!

Total scam, mate. Best thing is to just ignore the ring altogether. But if you’re feeling cheeky, pick up and feed them nonsense - it’s a laugh and it wastes their time too. Plus, it stops these muppets from trying to rope in others who might actually fall for their tricks. Definitely not worth taking seriously!

This number rang me three times just today. Twice when I picked up, they just hung up straight away. The one time they spoke, they told me to talk louder, said they were from the RTA about some car crash or something. Earlier on, I got the same kind of call from a different number (01514560622, also claiming to be RTA). When I told them I had Covid, they quickly ended the call - guess they didn’t fancy catching it through the phone!

A person phoned pretending to be from Aviva Insurance but that was definitely not true. I asked to talk to their manager since I’ve told them loads of times to stop ringing me and to take my number off their list. The bloke said he was the manager and then demanded £200 to get me off their calls. Honestly, don’t trust these people or hand over any details.

I’ve had calls from people saying they’re from Aviva, but it’s a total scam. This is the fifth time they’ve rang me about it. Every time I block and report one number, they just use another to call me again. Don’t trust these calls!

Just got a call from someone trying to scam me. Sounded totally dodgy.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Aviva, offering compensation for an accident. Thing is, they had no clue about any accident involving me, so I called them out on it. They kept pushing a lot, which felt a bit dodgy. Would not give them any personal info, felt like a bit of a risk.

Somebody rang me saying they were from the 'Motor Insurance Bureau', asking whether I'd had a car crash in the past three years. I replied, "If you’re really from the Motor Insurance Bureau, shouldn't you already have that info?" The woman just said "alright" and then ended the call. Seems like those sketchy ambulance chasers to me.

Got a call telling me my internet was going to be cut off for 24 hours due to some illegal stuff and asking me to press 1 to check it out. Bit dodgy if you ask me!
