I received a few calls from a chap with a foreign accent who seemed to think my name was something it quite clearly isn’t. He introduced himself as Dennis from Lifestyle Habits, claiming he was conducting a survey related to lifestyle choices, and was quite persistent in asking for some personal details. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

Got a call today, lots of noise in the background and the bloke had a pretty thick accent. He even knew my old name from about a decade ago. He claimed to be calling from some Credit Investigation Bureau about a debt I supposedly owed. When I told him that wasn’t right and said no, he just ended the call straight away.

Got called a couple of times within like three hours. Picked up on the second ring. The bloke sounded like he had a bit of a foreign accent, said his name was Dennis and he was from some company called ‘Lifestyle Habits’ or something like that, wasn’t really clear. He said he wanted to ask me a few questions. Started by asking if I lived at some postcode I’ve never lived at, then asked my age range, if I owned the place, rented, or stayed with parents (I fibbed and said rented). Then he asked who my broadband provider was (lied again) and finally wanted to know my current postcode. I told him I wasn’t comfy sharing that info, but he kept pushing so I just hung up and blocked the number right away.
