I received a message purporting to be from HMRC, stating that I was eligible for a tax rebate and urging me to click a link to access it. Quite amusing, really, considering I don’t even pay taxes!

Got a call from some phone number that’s not even real. Sounds like one of those dodgy scams to me.

Picked up the phone and they just hung up straight away, so i ended up blocking that number.

this bloke rings up claiming hes some kind of financial advisor, but i quickly told him he wasnt one cause he couldnt answer any of my questions properly. next thing i know, we are both shouting insults at each other for like 10 minutes straight. the best part? he called me on a premium number that ends up costing scammers like him £1.50 a minute - funny how that worked out!

Got a call about life insurance, sounded fishy. Didn’t pick up, but then another call came through from a nearly identical number 0161 520 4387. Seems like they’re really pushy tryin to get cash out of me. I've blocked both now.

Got a call supposedly from HMRC about some tax refund. They sent a link to get it, but the problem is, i dont even pay tax! Definitely a scam, watch out folks!

I answered the call but there was nothing but silence on the other end. Not sure if it was a wrong number, but the line stayed alive. After a bit, I just ended the call myself.
