So this bloke named Nigel, apparently from some call protection lot, rings me up promising to block all those annoying calls. He asked for my bank details to confirm my identity or something. I wasn’t having any of it and just told him to jog on and try his luck elsewhere. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

Same old story, scammers keep switching up their numbers but it’s always the same ones calling daily. Usually coming from Asian numbers, like the ones from call blocker, PC Wizards, Carphone Warehouse and the like. I've blocked them again now.

I just told her thanks, and if that’s true, we wouldn’t have to listen to her bothering us either! Total con artists, honestly.

I’ve had at least half a dozen calls from this number, and every time I pick up, it just goes silent. Being disabled, it’s a struggle to get to the phone, so it’s really frustrating. To find out it’s a scam has made me so cross. This isn’t the only number that calls me either - do they just ring randomly, or how do they actually get hold of my phone number? Some bloke called, saying he was 'Dennis' from this 'Call Guardian Service', claiming he’d stop my spam calls on my “cell phone.” I quickly told him I don’t use a cell phone, just a mobile, being British and all that. He had quite a thick Asian accent, and I could hear lots of others in the background all doing the same sales spiel. I had a bit of fun asking him where exactly he was calling from, what he was offering me, and why he'd want to give me this "free service" out of the blue. Then, when I asked his location again, he said Dorchestershire! Totally gave me a laugh.

Had a call from a number that showed up as private. I never pick up calls if I can't see who's calling or if they're not saved in my contacts. If it's something important, they'll usually leave a voicemail, and then I can call them back. Most of these calls ends up being spam anyway.
