I received a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft tech support, suggesting they could assist me in fixing my computer from a distance. Total scam!

dodgy call! some bloke with an Indian accent rang up, claiming to be from a debt collector, telling me I’ve been paying something off each month. i asked him how much i supposedly owe, and he just chuckled and said he didn't have a clue. then he went on saying he only had limited info on this. sounds like utter rubbish to me, lol. best not to pick up. total scam! rubbish.

I answered but there was total silence on the other end, pretty sure it was just a scam call - so I’ve blocked the number!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a chap named Brian who inquired if it was indeed me he was speaking to. He proceeded to mention something about a problem with my computer. I swiftly interjected, informing him that I don’t own one. Quite unexpectedly, he then retorted that I should pack my bags and kindly ‘bugger off’ back to my homeland before hanging up in a huff. It seems his command of the English language was rather limited, if that was the extent of his wit! Quite laughable, really.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from cyber security, told me my laptop was sending weird info out. Total scam, they had no clue about my computer at all.

Well, wouldn’t you know it? My laptop's been infected with some nasty virus, and of all people, Steve’s the one who needs to get his hands on it. 😂 That cheeky fellow, I've decided I’ll invite him over to sort it out. And guess what? He just hung up on me! What a charmer!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, telling me my computer had some kind of issue. Honestly, you'd think they'd come up with something new by now instead of going back to that tired old trick.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she works in cyber security. She asked if I was the one using the computer or laptop at home and said there was an issue. I told her my son’s a computer engineer and I’d have him check it out. Then I just ended the call. Definitely a scam, those people are just nasty!

Had an amusing encounter with an Indian woman who threatened to give me a good kicking because she was after remote access to my mobile. Naturally, I turned her down and jokingly remarked that she wouldn’t be able to last a couple of seconds! What a laugh, definitely a classic case of a scammer!

I can't fathom why no one has yet paid a visit to the location associated with this number. I’d be more than willing to pop over myself and give that impolite individual a piece of my mind, perhaps even introduce the phone to a rather uncomfortable spot!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Microsoft, said my PC was hacked. Thing is, Microsoft never calls or emails you out of the blue. You always have to reach out to them first if there’s a problem. Total scam, watch out.

It's just another scam trying to spread a computer virus. Don’t do what they say, just ignore it. Total fraud.

Had a couple of calls the past few days. Didn’t pick up since it seemed fishy, plus I wasn't near my phone at the time anyway.

I didn't pick up. When someone rings my mobile or home phone, the voicemail says I couldn’t get it because the number isn’t known. It asks genuine callers to leave a message, otherwise just hang up if no message’s left. Seen some other comments saying it’s just a marketing call.

this number and others like it have rung me loads but I always ignore and now they're blocked.

Got a call from someone in India, sounded like a cold call. Couldn't even tell if it was a bloke or a lass on the other end just by their name! The guy was proper rude, shouting threats about hurting me and stuff. Tried to block the number but my phone wouldn't let me. What a nightmare!

Not totally sure but I reckon it was probably the Taliban trying to recruit or something. Just blocked them straight away.

I managed to keep 'Ryan' on the line for a good 35 minutes before he angrily hung up on me. I wouldn’t advise anyone else to try this, but I must admit it gave me a bit of a giggle knowing that I had thwarted his attempts to scam someone else. It really made my day, to be honest!

I had a rather peculiar phone call from a woman claiming to be from Microsoft. She was of Asian descent and urgently insisted that my computer was compromised. Her request was for me to access my computer and adhere to her directives. Naturally, I decided to hang up!

This is just another complete con; I got plenty of abuse when I pointed out that they were a scam. They resorted to name-calling, using all sorts of profanities. Disgraceful behaviour, to say the least!

I received a call from someone today, and when I informed him that I wasn't at home, he asked me to get back to him tomorrow. However, he rang me again today and started to explain how I could grant him remote access to my laptop. I pretended to follow his directions, yet my computer ended up crashing. Just to clarify, I did NOT comply with his requests at all. He abruptly terminated the call afterwards.

This morning, I received a rather dodgy call from 01615201333, claiming that my laptop was infested with a virus! The chap, 'Ryan', who appeared to be calling from India, got quite irked when I probed him for more technical specifics-of which he had none, naturally. He ended up hurling a few expletives in my direction before abruptly terminating the call! 😂 If you get a call from this number, I strongly advise blocking it. Alternatively, you could have a chuckle like I did during the encounter!

I tried calling back and got stuck in a queue, waiting for the next free agent, then the call dropped. No clue who they were meant to be. Proper annoying since I was in the middle of my lunch and had to go upstairs to grab my phone from charging, just in case it was something important. Not best pleased.

I’ve just received a rather unwelcome call that seemed dodgy at best-best to steer clear of answering it. It baffles me why some individuals would choose to squander their time on such dishonest pursuits. It’s quite likely that their greed will come back to haunt them eventually. Just a heads up for everyone to stay alert!
