Seriously, I just did a factory reset on my phone - something I usually do twice a year - and hadn’t even set up any spam blocks yet. Then within like 5 minutes, this number calls me. I looked it up and it brought me straight here. Looks like #### haven't given up their scams yet. Honestly, they should just get an actual job!

Got a dodgy call, so I just blocked the number right away.

Got a call bright and early on Saturday around 8, left a message claiming to be from Officer Spender at Revenue and Customs. Just a recorded voice, pretty sure it’s a scam, best to disregard it.

Got a robocall from some "Peter Dunne" claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs. The voice sounded strangely like Professor Steven Hawking or something. They said I had to call back right away because it was urgent. Complete nonsense! Don’t even think about calling them back!

answered the call but there was dead silence. ended up blocking the number. not too sure if it was that car finance company working round the clock like someone mentioned before about +44 161 or 0161 numbers. don't waste your time trying to call back, chances are it’ll be busy and you might get charged for it too. definitely a no from me.
